The Ellettsville, Indiana, Town Council met at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2000 to conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2001 budget. Members present were Geraldine McIntyre, President; Michael Cornman, David Drake, and David Sorokoty. Members not present: Jerry Pittsford. Mrs. McIntyre called the meeting to order.

PUBLIC HEARING ON 2001 BUDGET

David Sorokoty asked about Park Board salaries. Geraldine McIntyre said that we currently have no Park Board members but we would leave the salaries in the budget and would welcome any residents to come forward who would be interested in serving. Mike Cornman commented that the rest of the Parks budget was ran by the Jim Ragle and the Street Department.

Darlyne Sowder inquired about salary increases for the employees, council members, and the Clerk-Treasurer.

Mike Cornman made a motion to close the budget adoption hearing. David Sorokoty seconded the motion. Motion passed.
