The
Ellettsville, Indiana, Town Council met is a special session at 6:30 p.m.,
Monday, July 30, 2001. Members present
were Jerry Pittsford, President; David Sorokoty, Vice President; David Drake,
Mike Cornman and Geraldine McIntyre.
Sandra Hash, Clerk-Treasurer; Jim Ragle, Street Commissioner; Jim Davis,
Fire Chief; Ron McGlocklin, Town Marshal; and Darlyne Sowder, Park Board
President also attended the session.
Year 2002 budgets
The Council discussed the budgets with the
Clerk-Treasurer and each Supervisor.
They reduced all budgets by decreasing the employee raise from 4% to 3%.
The Council instructed each supervisor to reduce their budgets by an additional
1% and meet again on August 6th
to discuss the results.
