The Ellettsville, Indiana Plan Commission met in regular session at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 7th, 2001. Members present were Kevin Farris, President; David Drake, Vice-President, Terry Baker, Frank Buczolich, Sandra Hash, Geraldine McIntyre, and William Evans, Secretary. Mr. Farris called the meeting to order. Bill Land, Ellettsville Town Planner, was also in attendance.

OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:

Kevin Farris noted that the petitioner of the Planned Commercial Development Plan for West Highway 46 and Deer Park Drive had asked that it be stricken from the agenda.

Geraldine McIntyre made a motion that we move the Forest View PUD request up to the beginning of the meeting. Terry Baker seconded. Motion passed, 7-0.

Jeff Fanyo, of Bynum, Fanyo, and Associates, represented Charles Wright and Chuck Kennedy in asking for an amendment to the Forest View Subdivision. It was a request for approval of a plat amendment that would let them sell the duplexes as individual units. The original plat was approved in June of 1997. James E. Smith, a concerned resident questioned the twenty-foot buffer zones and the trees around the area in question. There was discussion between the board members and the interested parties about this. Charles Kennedy also spoke about the homeowners association in The Forest View addition. He spoke about the set-ups on the new addition—restrictions of additions, exterior appearance of homes, etc. Motion was made by Geraldine McIntyre, seconded by David Drake to approve PUD request for the Forest View addition. Motion passed, 7-0.

Single Family Residential Preliminary Plat Plan, West Highway 46 and Deer Park Drive.

Mr. Jeff Fanyo representing Mr. John Seeber explained the preliminary plat plan for West Highway 46 and Deer Park Drive. Mr. Fanyo also explained that the previous commercial development for this site was suspended. After conversation between residents of the immediate area, board members, and Mr. Fanyo, a motion was made by David Drake, seconded by Terry Baker to approve the preliminary plat for the single family residential zoning plan at West Highway 46 and Deer Park Drive. Motion carried, 6 ayes, Terry Baker abstained from voting on the motion.

Election of Officers, 2001:

Motion made by Geraldine McIntyre, seconded by Terry Baker, to nominate David Drake for Vice President. Motion withdrawn.

Motion made by Frank Buczolich, seconded by Sandy Hash, to elect David Drake President. Motion carried, 7-0.

Geraldine McIntyre made the motion for Kevin Farris to be elected Vice-President. Kevin declined.

Sandy Hash nominated Frank Buczolich for Vice-President. Terry Baker seconded the motion. Motion carried, 7-0.

Motion made by Sandy Hash, seconded by Terry Baker to nominate William Evans for Secretary. Motion carried, 7-0.
