The Ellettsville, Indiana, Town Council met
in special session on
Topic: To replace David Drake and appoint Jim Davis to the Monroe County Emergency Advisory Board as the Council’s Representative.
Present: David Sorokoty, President; David Drake,
Vice-President; Ray Freetage and Geraldine McIntyre. Lisa Creech was absent. Sandra Hash, Clerk-Treasurer was unable to
attend due the I. A. C. T. Conference in
David Drake explained there is a potential conflict of interest for him to be on the Board since his employer also is on the Board and that often times he is unable to attend the meetings because of the times they are held. He added that Jim Davis would probably have better insight on the issues anyway and officially resigned his position on the Advisory Board.
Geraldine McIntyre made a
motion to accept David Drake’s resignation.
Ray Freetage seconded. Motion
carried.
Geraldine McIntyre made a
motion to appoint Jim Davis to the Monroe County Emergency Advisory Board. David Drake seconded. Motion carried 4-0.
