his lighting concerns at the storage facility on Ridge Springs Lane. There was too much light shining onto his
house and property at night. He has
spoken to the owner, Don Kinser. Mr.
Kinser has turned off the three lights that shine toward Mr. Beninger’s home as a temporary fix to the problem. Mr. Kinser wrote a letter to the Commission
stating without the lights his surveillance cameras were unable to function
properly. Mr. Beninger presented
information on controlling light pollution.
He requested a test to look at the house and the shadows presented by
the lighting. CINergy/PSI would have to
turn the lights back on for the test.
Mr. Rick Coppock, Town Engineer, will send a letter to both
CINergy/PSI and Mr. Don Kinser about the problem.
Lighting at
C&S Gas Station
Mr. Joe Sanders voiced his concerns about the
lighting at the new C&S gas station.
Representatives of the C&S gas station, Mr. Sanders, and the

weather had held up some plans for the final work on the facility, it was
determined that it would be agreeable to wait until final completion and see if
there was still a problem with the lighting.
