Approve Minutes of
Geraldine McIntyre made a motion to accept the minutes
from the July meeting. Amber Ragle
seconded. Motion carried.
Approve Accounts Payable/Review Expenditures
Expenditures were
reviewed for the previous month.
2006 Budget
Jeff presented
the changes that the Town Council made to the Parks budget. The amount on the
Secretary line for $1,200 was removed, the Part-Time Laborer was reduced to
$7,300, Materials went down to $1,900, the amount for Stone was taken out,
Legal Services was removed and Community Support was removed. This made the
total 2006 budget for the Parks $14,712.49 which is $4,707.98 less than 2005.
Shelter House Rental
Amber explained
that the Town Council has some concerns about the Shelter House Rental. They
want to know who will enforce the rental policy if a problem develops and what
time frame the rental is effective for. Jeff stated he didn’t understand why
the police won’t enforce the rental policy if there is a problem. Jeff will
check with the City of

Jeff reminded the
board that the House of Prayer will be using the Park facilities on October 8.
He left a message with them about the possibility of construction.
New Business
Amber Ragle
informed the other members that $96.00 was received this month from Spicer
Enterprises. It was for proceeds from
the Coke Machines located at the
