The Ellettsville Parks and Recreation Board met on March 5, 2007 at the Fire Department Training and Conference Center. Members present were Brett Williamson, President; Geraldine McIntyre, Vice-President; Michael Griffey, Edwin Macatangay and Amber Ragle. Brett Williamson called the meeting to order.

Approve Minutes of February 5, 2007

Geraldine McIntyre moved to approve the minutes of the February 5, 2007 meeting. Michael Griffey seconded. Motion carried.

Review Accounts Payable Expenditures

The expenditures for the month of February were discussed.

Old Business

Brett updated the board on the progress of the Master Plan. Everything is pretty much ready with the exception of the needs assessment. He is still trying to find someone to complete that part and thinks he might have a lead at IU. He said the timeframe may be mid-summer before it is completed.

Brett also said he has a meeting scheduled for Friday with the School Superintendent, Frank Nierzwicki and the gentleman interested in developing the Sport’s Complex in Ellettsville. They will be looking at the business plan. Brett hopes to have more information to share with the board by the next meeting.
