The Ellettsville Parks and Recreation Board met on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Fire Department Training and Conference Center. Geraldine McIntyre called the meeting to order at 5:34 pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Members present were Geraldine McIntyre, Vice-President; Michael Griffey, Amber Ragle and Ron Wayt. Jimmie Durnil was absent.

Election of Officers

Geraldine would prefer to wait on the election of officers until there is a full board present and all the vacancies are filled. Michael Griffey made a motion to postpone the election of officers until all the positions are filled. Ron Wayt seconded. Motion carried.

Approve Minutes of December 3, 2007

Michael Griffey moved to approve the minutes of the December 3, 2007 meeting. Ron Wayt seconded. Motion carried.

Review Accounts Payable Expenditures

Amber Ragle passed out the current Chart of Accounts and the Appropriation Activity Report listing everything paid in 2007. The electric bill and payment to the Parks Board members were the only expenditures in December.

Old Business

Geraldine McIntyre questioned if anything else has happened with the Wishing Well Nature Park designation since the last parks board meeting. Dianna Bastin said the Town Council had tabled it at their last meeting.
