November 2, 2009 Ellettsville Parks and Recreation Board meeting Minutes

The Ellettsville Parks and Recreation Board met on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Fire Department Training and Conference Center. Jimmie Durnil called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. Members present were Jimmie Durnil, President; Richard Pease, Vice-President; Amber Ragle, Secretary; Michael Griffey and Geraldine McIntyre.

Approve Minutes of October 5, 2009

No minutes to approve. No meeting held October 5 due to lack of quorum.

Review Accounts Payable Expenditures

Amber Ragle was on vacation, therefore did not have any financial information for the month of October. She will bring October and November information to the December meeting.

New Business

Amber Ragle, stated the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be held Saturday, November 28 at 6:00 p.m. They are taking donations to pay for the sound and lights. Amber asked if the Parks board would pay the difference if they didn’t collect enough to cover the bill. Michael Griffey made the motion that we pick up any kind of slack for funds needed for the Christmas Tree Light ceremony. Geraldine McIntyre seconded. Motion carried 5-0.

Amber Ragle stated $7 was received in Coke machine proceeds for September and October was $31.

Geraldine McIntyre made a motion to adjourn. Richard Peace seconded. Jimmie Durnil adjourned the meeting.
