November 3, 2010 Ellettsville Parks and Recreation Board Meeting Minutes

The Ellettsville Parks and Recreation Board met on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Fire Department Training and Conference Center. Michael Griffey called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. Members present were Michael Griffey, Geraldine McIntyre and Amber Ragle. Jimmie Durnil and Richard Pease were absent.

Approve Minutes of October 4, 2010

Geraldine McIntyre made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 4, 2010 meeting. Amber Ragle seconded. Motion carried.

Review Accounts Payable Expenditures

The Accounts Payable expenditures were discussed. Amber stated the only expenses this month were the electric bills.

Old Business

There was not any old business.

New Business

Geraldine McIntyre said she had attended the “Sunday in the Park” event that was held in Lyons, Indiana, the first weekend in October. It is free to attend and they offer Potato Soup and Bean Soup to the public and local church groups sing. Geraldine would like to see Ellettsville offer something similar, maybe in the spring. She has a newspaper article relating to the event and she will bring it with her to the next meeting.
